Sounds Defy Gravity

Thanks to Test Industries for the quote from Dave Sumner on his mix: “This is a 2 hour DJ/Live a set of mine that was recorded at Berghain last year on October 24, 2009 using a Laptop, Controller, Mixing Desk, Roland TR-808, Roland SH-101, Boss SE-50, Doepfer MAQ 16/3, Roland Juno-1 and Yamaha DX-100. It was around the same time I did the Sandwell District podcast for RA so it has a lot of remnants of it but with more of a rough, dirty live feel to it. It was sitting on a hard drive and I never even listened to it until a couple of weeks ago but was pleasantly surprised when I heard it. There’s a few sound issues and the mixdown gets a bit heavy on the left side in sections but other than that, it’s cool for a live recording. I don’t usually like releasing live recordings especially ones that are a year old but hell, it’s a 2 hour DJ/Live set at Berghain with a bunch of gear…So enjoy :)..”
